Each session is packed with fun-filled day trips to outdoor recreation areas. Activities may include caving, hiking, rock climbing, canoeing, tubing and an overnight trip. The goal is to introduce unique, challenging activities under strong and encouraging leadership. A schedule is provided on the first day of camp. Two-week sessions include a scheduled overnight trip (no overnight for one-week sessions). Recreational swimming is included. A swim assessment will be given on the first day; so don’t forget your swim suit and towel; (girls must have “one-piece” swim wear and boys must have “swimming trunks” not shorts). Campers are required to wear sturdy supportive shoes/boots for hiking with good tread on the sole. Bring old shoes or “aqua socks” to wear in the water, lightweight rain gear, 1 (one) quart or larger plastic water bottle (full), sunscreen, insect repellent, extra t-shirt and shorts. Please pack items in a backpack or duffel bag. All campers are to meet at the Teen Center. The two-week overnight session dates are: Session 1 June 24 - Yogi Bear Jellystone Park and Campground, Luray, VA. Session 2 July 8- Rocky Gap State Park, Western MD. Session 3 July 22- Pocomoke River State Park, Snowhill, MD
