Camp focuses on engaging in new activities, making friends, and exploring healthy lifestyle choices. Each day brings opportunities for the campers to expand their horizons through indoor and outdoor adventures. Hiking, swimming, field trips and craft projects are just a few of the exciting adventures. Campers will also participate in local atatons and activities in the area. A camping trip will be held (see description below) on the second Wednesday night of each two-week session. Only the girls enrolled in the two-week session will be able to attend. The fun culminates at the end of each 2-week session with a program written and presented by the campers. Parents are invited to attend. Recreational swimming is offered twice a week. Opening day activities help the girls get to know each other. Activities are subject to change due to weather conditions. Camping Trip Locations: Campers will be housed in cabins for all camping trip. Session 1 (June 30) Washington, DC/Capital KOA Campground, • Millersville, MD Campers have an opportunity to participate in volleyball, hiking, campfire activities and visit a local beach. Session 2 (July 14) Gettysburg Campground Visit the All Star Events Complex here they can participate in miniature golf, space capsule thrill ride, basketball, go karts and much more. Session 3 (July 28) Hagerstown KOA Campground Campers can participate in swimming, miniature golf and campfire activities. Session 4 (Aug 11) Harpers Ferry KOA Campground Campers visit the small town of Harpers Ferry and enjoy swimming, campfire activities and game room activities.
